If you are interested here is a Lycian Way group holiday. We completed this is October 2018, here are the details:
Day 1 Ovacik to Kabak via Faralya 17 kms it took us 7 hours with plenty of stops, for taking photos and also lunch. The route climbs around Babadağ (father mountain) with fantastic views. Onto the village of Kirme then Faralya before descending to the village of Kabak overlooking the sea and mountains.
Day 2 Kabak to Boğaziçi via Alinca 13 kms 6 hours again stopping regularly. The route starts by going down to Kabak beach. It then rises for 800 metres to the village of Alinca. We completed the walk in the village of Boğaziçi.
Day 3 Boğaziçi to Gavurağılı via Sidyma and Bel 14 kms, 6 hours with stops. The route rises to the ancient site of Sidyma where we enjoyed lunch. Onto the small village of Bel before descending to sea level. We completed the day’s walk at Gavurağılı.
Day 4 Çavdır to Üzümlü 11 kms, 5 hours. The route follows an ancient Roman aqueduct around the hillside. It runs to the source of the streams and then continues through pine woodland to the pretty village of Üzümlü (with grapes).
Day 5 Delikkemer Aqueduct to Patara Ruins 10 kms 4 hours (alternate route is 15 kms, 6 hours). The walk begins at the incredible stone aqueduct before continuing around hillside. It finishes at the amazing ruins of Patara. You can take a swim at the nearby beach. Your accommodation is nearby in the town of Gelemiş.
